If you are constantly unwell and the doctor keeps telling you to see a phsychiatrist because it is all in your mind you may be having alergic reactions to a particular food additive.

This was the case for my father who was diognosed as hyperglycemic but still felt unwell after eating some foods. He wasn't having sugar anymore so why was he still experiencing anxiety/panic attacks and a thumping heart less than half an hour after eating. He kept a food diary of what he had eaten and if he had an attack he would look into the ingredients contained in the particular food.
After a while he was almost certain that MSG was causing the problem and after breakfast one morning of sausages he once again had another panic attack so he rang the butcher. He got the butcher to list the ingredients he puts in the sausages and sure enough E621, Monosodium glutamate was one.

So he now avoids MSG altogether and has eliminated his panic attacks.

Beware, travelling in Asia as they add it to nearly all their savoury foods. Many Asian restaurants in Australia are now removing MSG from their food so it is quite safe to eat out so long as you advise the staff that you have a zero tolerance to the additive. This will ensure that you have an enjoyable meal and evening following.
